Roger Duwel founded the company and began working with Thordon's products for the maritime industry in Sweden
1994
DUWEL achieves million-dollar sales for the first time and becomes a supplier to the Swedish Navy
1998
DUWEL becomes the main supplier to several OEMs in the hydropower industry.
2002
Enters into an agreement as a 'Preferred Supplier' with Kongsberg Maritime (Kamewa & Rolls-Royce).
2009
DUWEL takes on 2 new suppliers as an exclusive distributor in Sweden
2014
DUWEL starts in Finland, Norway, and the UK and brings in several new suppliers.
2014
Tommy Holmgren, currently Sales Director, becomes a co-owner of DUWEL.
2016
DUWEL supplies bearing systems for large offshore projects
2019
Framework agreement with a leading pump OEM in Norway

DUWEL sets a sales record
2024
DUWEL continues to invest, particularly in Norway, by hiring a dedicated sales manager based in Molde. Silje Hagen will join the DUWEL team on March 1, 2024.
